Our Story

A heart of generosity and service to others was the legacy left behind by Merrill Ingram. Soles to Souls was started with the dream to continue his legacy.

As an orphaned child, Merrill went years of his childhood without proper shoes to fit his growing feet. This eventually led him to having to cut the ends of his shoes out in order for his feet to fit. 

This story from his childhood was just one small piece of many that fill a story of pain and struggle. Thankfully, his story is one of redemption, where the faithfulness of God was on full display. The memories of pain and struggle are what spurred him to live an amazing life. He not only helped so many in amazing material ways, but most importantly, spiritual ways. He never hesitated to share the incredible story of what Jesus had done in his life - giving the Lord all the glory. 

Our goal is to continue his good work and willingness in both.
